As co-founder and spokesperson of the DSC, Rolf Drechsler represents the institute's interests both inside and outside the university. Together with the deputy spokesperson, he defines the strategy of the DSC and directs the research, training, and transfer projects with the aim of promoting innovation in the field of data science.

Andreas Breiter is co-founder and deputy spokesperson of the DSC. He contributes significantly to the development and implementation of the strategic goals of the institute. In cooperation with the spokesperson, he steers and monitors the activities of the DSC and defines the principles of its scientific orientation.

Sana Hassan Imam is currently pursuing her PhD at the DSC / in the Department of Computer Sciences and working on a collaborative project with the Department of Business Studies and Economics. Her research interests include data mining, data management and data processing for Fintech-oriented online collaborative communities and platforms through machine learning, explainable AI and natural language processing.
