JOIN OUR INTERDISCIPLINARY DATA SCIENCE NETWORK

The DSC brings together scientists from all disciplines to facilitate the development of cross-cutting research questions at the interface of theory, methodology, and application. Through this interdisciplinary approach, we explore new fields of application for data science and provide fresh impetus to technological research.

The DSC addresses

  1. Scientists conducting basic research at the interface of mathematics /statistics and computer science, as well as

  2. Researchers from application-oriented disciplines who already use or are interested in implementing data science methods such as machine learning in different contexts.

The DSC welcomes scientists from all faculties to join our network and promote data-driven research at the University of Bremen. Professors and senior researcher can become full members and early-career scientists such as postdocs or doctoral candidates can join the DSC as associate members.
