DSC article published in the proceedings of the E-Science-Days 2023

The E-Science-Days took place in Heidelberg at the beginning of March this year. The articles have now been published in the conference proceedings. Included is an article under the lead of our coordinator Lena Steinmann on the role of the DSC as an interdisciplinary hub for data-intensive research.

The E-Science Days are an interdisciplinary conference focusing on the topics of research data management and open science. This year, the E-Science Days took place under the motto ‘Empower Your Research – Preserve Your Data’. During the conference participants discussed topics such as how to ensure the sustainable storage, management, availability, and accessibility of research data over its entire life-cycle. DSC coordinator Dr. Lena Steinmann also attended the conference and represented the DSC
(we report here ).

The contributions to the conference have now been published in the conference proceedings ‘E-Science-Tage 2023: Empower Your Research - Preserve Your Data’. The collection also includes the article ‘The Data Science Centre at the University of Bremen: Interdisciplinary hub and service infrastructure for data-intensive research’. The contribution provides an overview over the role of the DSC and outlines the institute’s goals, activities, and services in the field of data science and research data management.

The complete proceedings of the E-Science Days 2023 are available at bookshops and can be accessed online here . Our article can be found here .
