SHORT PROFILE
Susanna Bolz is a scientific employee (doctoral candidate) in the Innovation and Structural Economics research group at the University of Bremen. She completed her Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Cologne (M.Sc. 2020) and her Bachelor’s degrees in Economics (B.Sc. 2016) and Sociology (B.A. 2015) at Heidelberg University.
Her research interests lie in the area of regional diffusion of green technologies and the influence of government policies on them. In her dissertation, she analyzes regional determinants of environmental innovation behavior of companies. She primarily uses various secondary data from official statistics as well as unstructured text data and analyzes these using econometric methods. She is also involved in the BMFTR-funded project hyBit.
