New Funding Opportunity with the DSC Seed Grant!
The DSC offers financial support to scientists from all faculties in order to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthen data science competencies at the University of Bremen.
Members of the DSC can receive special funds to initiate research projects or collaborations in the field of data science through the
DSC Seed Grant. In particular, ventures that foster the collaboration of working groups from different faculties and, thus, lay the foundation for interdisciplinary research projects in the context of data science are supported. The overall goal of the DSC Seed Grant is to promote excellent research in the field of data science.
The amount of the grant is up to
2,500 EUR per applicant. Cooperative applications from research teams are most welcome. Researchers from all status groups, including PhD students, postdocs, senior researchers, and professors, are eligible to apply. The funding can be used for a variety of applications in the context of data science including the implementation of pilot studies, the organization of networking events in Bremen, the invitation of researchers, the realization of a research stay, or the participation in conferences, summer schools or workshops.
